Victor sits on the west side of the valley, right below the Bitterroot Range, with ranch land and hay fields spreading out toward the river. It's a small town with a lot of country around it: older farmhouses, manufactured homes, shops and outbuildings, and newer homes on acreage. Out here, a lot of houses are beyond natural gas lines, so propane, electric heat and boilers are common, and many homes have added a heat pump or mini-split for efficient heat and summer cooling. Clear winter nights get bitterly cold on the valley floor, and summer heat and wildfire smoke have made cooling and clean indoor air a bigger deal every year.

Heating and Cooling Services in Victor

We diagnose and repair propane, gas and electric furnaces, service and replace boilers, and install and repair radiant floor heat, which is popular in shops and newer Bitterroot homes. We install cold-climate heat pumps and ductless mini-splits, which work well for homes without ductwork, additions and shops, and we set up hybrid systems that keep a furnace or boiler as backup. We also install and repair central air, and our tune-ups and maintenance plans help catch small problems before a cold snap. Full details are on our HVAC services page.

For businesses and ag buildings, we handle commercial heating and cooling, including rooftop units, unit heaters and make-up air, plus complete HVAC for new homes and commercial construction.

Heating Notes for Victor Homes

Victor sits around 3,400 feet. If your home runs on propane, keep an eye on the tank through long cold stretches and keep the driveway plowed so the delivery truck can reach it. Electric furnaces and baseboard are simple but still fail; an electric furnace that only partly heats is often running on fewer heating elements than it should. Boilers feeding baseboard or radiant floors need their pressure, expansion tank, circulators and relief valve checked before deep winter, and one cold zone usually points to air in the line, a zone valve or a circulator. If the heat goes out, see our 24/7 emergency HVAC page.
